IT took a near fall from the 34th floor of Sydney's Australia Square building to convince Mr Leo Sotiropoulos to change jobs.
More than 26 years after throwing in his carpenter's tools the 54-year-old has made a name in the take-away food business.
Last week Leo and Angela Sotiropoulos' shop in Raymond Terrace won an award for best milk/snack bar in NSW.
The prize was handed out by the NSW Dairy Industry in the Milk Marque Awards at the Darling Harbour Convention Centre.
In presenting the award the judges pinpointed the clean shop, friendly staff and good food available at Leo's Take Away.
Mr Sotiropoulos said the `juicy' hamburgers were the shop's speciality and fresh chips and salad were also popular.
After 23 years in three take-away shops he has learned a thing or two about food service.
`We work very hard because when you're making food it is a big responsibility,' he said.
`It is a clean shop, which I am very fussy about.' ? Tom Crystal
